REVIEW:

As soon as these arrived and were open, all I said was “wow” as my first impression, and that was just because of the colours before me within their well thought out slimline compact container; simple travel size for a handbag.

Then came the fact that I’d known that I bought these shimmer palettes, but they were just right for giving a soft highlight to the eyes, in other words, they do as they say— shimmer.

The texture of the shade finish is satin, and the pigmentation is very good, therefore it amounts to being just right to place on the eyeshadow brush with no fall out below the eye.

And also, the colour range has been well thought out too, within the neat clear flip top lid which makes it easy to see the shades beneath and black packaging.

Recommended Combo:

First two colours on the left of the palettes (white and lighter shade) mix together to create a brow bone highlighter shade for the correct skin tone, and not just white on its own.  Or use the eye shadow that is second on the left, as a brow bone highlighter shadow on its own.

The rest of the colours can be used as lid, crease and out corner shadow for the eyes for your particular eye shape and eye crease line.

If necessary use the white shade mixed with these remaining darker shades to subdue the tonal quality of the eye shadows if applied too heavily as a corrector.

Alternatively from these palettes, one can do a mono or dual eyeshadow look for day-time, as well as a three or four quad eyeshadow makeup look (perhaps switching it up for the evening) and depending upon the level of your cosmetic artistry.
